An obnoxious, self-centered view on what-a-bitch life can be.....

Its Friday.. *phew*.. but working this weekend so that kinda sux, going Honky tonite with all the guys, will be a nice little reunion, can't wait to see the two Kuching kids have a go at each other *grin*.

Just got back from lunch at home, naturally, being only 4 minutes away, had my daily dose of Oprah Winfrey... *ahhhhh*

These days, lunch time trips back home aren't the same. These days, I'm greeted with a "hello" (usually in a grouchy sleepy inaudible voice), and a welcoming (but stale) hug. The emergence of a bleary-eyed smurf-hobbit hybrid from the bedroom always brings a smile to my face.

Life is good, the arrival NanaQ has been timely, things are finally looking up for me. I love my life, God is soooo good, he's so good to me (as always).

*Disclaimer: Inspite of Lid's inability to interpret my blog correctly, I STILL LOVE HER TO BITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well well, its been about 4 whole days now, things are different, nice but different. I reckon I don't react well to change. Gimme some time and I should be fine. Having a house mate that makes herself comfortable in your bed is weird, guess its been sometime since I've had a house mate who also happens to be a close buddy. Four days, and we haven't killed each other yet... must be a good sign, aye?

Now, this morning, in the middle of my "what the F*%K, I'm late!!!" routine, I noticed something was different bout my bathroom... my initial suspicions were aroused by a foul smelling odour, lingering around the toilet. Upon closer inspection, I realised what it was... I was living out my worse nightmare. How should i put this, well, in the words of my dear friend Adeline, I was staring at a "pale amber rose"... not a mist, but a spotch, maybe even a puddle.... strategically positioned, i won't elaborate.. but lets just say someone needs "wings".. damn drippage, enough said.

Oh, and also, it seems Lid brought over a friend in her DHL box from Singapore, a COCKROACH!!!! In my three years here, I've never ever seen a cockroach, not til Lid comes to stay with me. Of course Lid went into a frenzy, hiding in the corner screaming her tits off! Of course, I had to play my part, slowly teasing her, not wanting to kill the cockroach completely, using the half dead bug to evoke *shrieks* n *yikes*... it was all too fun... wait til the mice come out to play :)

In spite of all this, I have to say its nice to come home to someone familiar, someone I totally trust without reservations. I'm thankful for Lid's SAFE return and wouldn't give up this oppportunity for the world. I forsee our stay together will be thoroughly enjoyable.... way too much bitching, but enjoyable all the same.
