An obnoxious, self-centered view on what-a-bitch life can be.....

me back is killing me!

Its so hard to get back in (physical) shape when my darn back is giving me problems. This time, it seems that it could be a muscle strain instead of nerve problems, and its on the lower right back. Lets see what I have so far, I have pain in the lower left back which affects the left leg, left shoulder pains (chronic), right wrist injury (some floating nerve problem), right thumb (chronic) and now........ lower left back muscle strain.

*sweet*

Was listening to the first piece of work, 'Herculean' from Damon Albarn's new super group- The good The Bad and The queen. Well, according to Albarn that is actually the name of the album (which currrently has one song) and the group has no name. *bleah* Dunno what it is with musical geniuses, always trying to confuse the hell out of us simpletons. Maybe it's just cos he's British, half the time we don't understand what the poms are saying anyway. The track is not bad, kinda moody but i like the drums and the overall sound. Will be keeping an eye out for their future work..... if there is a future.

Speaking of the poms, Australia is giving the poms an absolute spanking in the Ashes series! End of day 2 today in the 2nd innings and I really can't see how England can take this first test. Witht he way Australia are bowling, I don't think England can force a draw either, not with McGrath on form!

Sleepy and mentally exhausted, was feeling really down recently but thankfully I have plenty of great friends around me who never fail to cheer me right up! 3 more sleeps before the final exam, its been a long time coming......

Have a great weekend people ;)

Thank you Zhiyang!

This week has past so quickly, its already Thursday and I don't have the mood to study for my last paper on Monday. In fact, this year has come and gone so quickly, I look back and regret not making the most of it. All the missed opportunities, all the good times I took for granted, I wish I had cherished all those wonderful moments in 2006. The beauty of hindsight *sigh*, 2007 will be full of challenges and I can only pray that I'll learn to treasure the good and overcome the bad.

The U2 concert on sunday was absolutely thrilling! The are so awesome live; can't say much bout the opening act though (Kanye West), I reckon I could have done better if they gave me the mic and let me play my air guitar. *grin*

Speaking of air guitars, I think i freaking broke the strings that night, I played my air guitar like i never played it before, sang my lungs out and screamed like Lid Q at a Michael jackson concert.

Took some pictures with my camera phone, lousy quality but its better than nothing. Eunice got some pretty good shots though, but thats cos she, Nikki and the waterbottle wielding Irish-man were bopping up the front in the mosh pit.

Walking to Telstra Dome *intense heart palpitations*

My favourite moment of the night was when Bono asked everyone to take out their mobile phones (they dimmed all the lights) and they started singing 'One'.... can you imagine 70,000 blinking lights in a dark stadium; reminds me of the time I was in Shorewater bay, 1999, the clear night sky filled with more stars than you could imagine.

*nice*
